We’re looking for illustrators to fill our list of books in the Chronically Empowered series we are working on. As soon as we have an illustrator for a topic, that book can begin accepting submissions.

Requirements:
MUST BE SOMEONE LIVING WITH A CHRONIC ILLNESS TO APPLY.
Benefits:
In order to become an illustrator for one of the books, you need to understand what it will entail. Illustrating for one of our Chronically Empowered (CE) books will mean that you will need to create 5-10 images depicting the chosen themes of the book that you are paired with. You will also need to create 1-2 images that we can use for advertising and soliciting submissions for that book. You will be allowed to do this in your own creative style. You will be chosen and paired with one of the CE books based on your style matching the ideas and concepts of the book.
Responsibilities:
A Chronically Empowered illustrator helps to bring a vision about that topic to life. The illustrator works with the curator on a topic to ensure that the illustrations meet the curator’s vision for that book.
